I am planning to conduct a plein-air painting workshop in Sydney on Thursday 25 September. We will paint at the harbour's edge in the vicinity of Mrs Macquarie's Chair, which is just down from the Art Gallery of New South Wales at the end of Mrs Macquarie's Road. 

I am visiting Sydney for several days because of my contribution of paintings to two consecutive exhibitions at The Garden Gallery in the Sydney Botanical Gardens - the annual Australian Watercolour Institute exhibition, followed by the William Fletcher Legacy exhibition (showing work from artists who have received a grant from the Foundation).

The workshop will run from 10 am to 1 pm. We will meet a Mrs Macquarie's Chair. The cost of the workshop is $100. I expect it will be a small group. I will demonstrate in watercolour but participants can bring along any media they choose (I can provide advice on materials on request).
